Start Devotion — in the Browser or as an App on Your Home Screen
Devotion runs right in the browser: no download, no account, no installation. If you prefer to use it like a real app — with its own icon, full screen and push notifications — add it to your home screen in 30 seconds. Here is how.
Want to start right away?
Devotion works instantly in the browser — the installation below is optional.
Open the app →Important for iPhone: Push notifications (e.g. "New task received") only work on the iPhone when Devotion is installed as a web app on the home screen. Those two minutes are worth it.
iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- Open getdevotion.app/app/ in Safari (not Chrome — iOS only allows installing from Safari).
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom centre — the square with the arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down the list and choose "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap "Add" in the top right — done. Devotion now sits as an icon on your home screen and opens full screen, like a regular app.
Android (Chrome)
- Open getdevotion.app/app/ in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
- Choose "Install app" (or "Add to Home screen", depending on your version).
- Confirm — Devotion appears as an app icon and runs full screen, push notifications included.
Mac & PC (Chrome or Edge)
- Open getdevotion.app/app/ in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon on the right of the address bar (a monitor with an arrow) — or menu → "Install Devotion".
- Confirm — from now on Devotion opens in its own window.
Prefer to stay invisible?
That works too: without installation, Devotion leaves no icon and no app on your device — you simply use it in the browser and close the tab when you are done. Maximum discretion, same features (only iPhone push needs the installation). More on discretion in our blog post on privacy in D/s apps.
And setting it up as a couple?
How to connect as a couple, create tasks and award points is shown step by step in the guide.
